Oxfam and Champasak University's Biogas Pilot Project
Limited or no electricity in rural Laos means families risk their health by cooking with fire indoors. This year, Oxfam partnered with Champasak University for a six-month pilot of converting pig manure into biogas as an alternate energy supply.
Phoukeo is biogas project participant. With the biogas digester connected, he has stopped burning firewood and now uses gas to cook, reducing associated health risks and time to prepare meals.

Climate change is bringing more challenges to farmers in Cambodia to grow crops. Hotter temperatures, drought, and flood are becoming more common and severe, and the river level has fluctuated abnormally. This has made it difficult for farmers to grow enough food to feed their families and sell surplus for income generation. To help the rural communities adapt to climate change, Oxfam, in colla...

If you believe that there is a climate crisis then you are brainwashed Sea level has not moved Temperatures have stayed the same, and the powers that be do not like to admit this. I have a Greenpeace tomb from 1968 it predicted that sea levels would rise meters and temperatures would rise to the point that life on earth would be impossible all this nonsense should have occurred in 1996, so 28 years later they still spout out the same doom and gloom, to keep the donations rolling that they can live this perfect lifestyle saving humanity from itself, They should use their effort to condemn the USA for all the trouble that it causes in its own interest.

Look, global rising sea level is not the issue for islands. I have been visiting the same coastal areas along the Australian coast for the last 60 years. Australia is a reasonably stable continental mass & it's sea level has not changed in all that time. The pacific Islands on the other hand are formed by volcanics associated with plate tectonics. Oceanic plate drift carries the islands away from the volcanic hot spot that formed them. You can see the evidence on a map, chains of islands arcing away from the volcanic hot spot. As the sea floor drifts the islands away from the hotspot it also sinks in depth, lowering the islands into the sea. This is an inevitable geological process that has nothing to do with climate change. It's just volcanic and plate tectonic hot spots raise the sea floor & as the sea floor moves away from the hotspot, it sinks deeper below the sea. Look it up, look at the mid Atlantic ridge for example, this is a very long major up-welling of the mantle, which then cools and moves away from the up-welling, causing the sea floor to sink deeper as it moves further away from the up-welling. These are global scale geological processes that have been occurring for many millions of years. There is no stopping it, people just have to keep moving to survive. It's why animals have legs, wings and flippers. Get used to it!

As usual, no evidence is provided to us to check these disinformation claims out for ourselves. I see the sun rise every day and set every day, been doing this for millions of years. And will continue to do so for millions of years. First it was claimed in the 1970s that we were heading into another ice age, then this became global warming, then when the evidence did not support warming, it became climate change. Lady, climate never stays the same, it is always changing, and always will. These doom mongers scaring every one, and putting their hand out for donations - modern version of snake oil salesmen. No thank you lady, I am guessing this lady is a paid actor repeating lines someone else wrote for her.

It would be cheaper if every dollar spent on the futile ideological quest to change the climate by 1 degree was spent on adaption to change instead these Islands wouldn't have a problem. The sea level rising 3mm per year gives us plenty of time, instead of the decade or 2 the alarmists are giving us.
